I am not quiet sure what you are referring too. My dogs get lots of exercise
and they go places with me and we play. But they are not treated like hot
house tomotoes

It all sounds wonderful...but you didn't speak of what exercise and stimulation
they receive.I have 3 GSD's, all who love and respect me deeply, but would gang
up on me if I didn't take them out of the confines of the house and yard twice
daily. (Never mind the romps and tripups in the yard.)On another note, (
sorta' ) on a Canadian show dog list I am on, there is a woman, with Cockers,
who figures because they are so small, all they need is her wee condo backyard.
"Just a small bit" is what she says.Personally, I think that is horrible dog
ownership. A dog needs/desires to GO and get out. It could be the laziest ass
couch potato dog, but they need stimulation ( walks ). Colleen Donnelly

some thing in here-Everyone has a problem sometime but some have more problems
then others.I truly believe in survival of the fittest. When I was new at=
this I tried to justify using animals for breeding that had some
problems(health) but that only led to heart break for everyone involved. I got
tough and said no more. Any animal with health problems did not get bred.-
Once I did that the problems disappeared for the most partThe other thing I
believe in is these are dogs they should be treated like dogs. My dogs are fed
twice a day a good quality dog food with a little water and a spoon of meat.
They are not confined before or after eating they are not given supplements-
They live out side without heat or air conditioning and they are big strong
healthy and live a long time- I let them stand on their own 4 feet. Of
course I give medical care when needed.My girl with the allergies has been
spayed. My heart breaks as she was one of the last daughters out of my Seiko
but I would not chance her producing more allergies.Sometimes people just have
to say enough is enough and turn around and go a different
