Thank you all very much who made "our National" away from the National
so much fun. Special thanks to Evan who gave unselfishly of his
personal time so the rest of us could have knowledge of what was
happening step by step, blow by blow. I don't know of too many people
who would give up their own enjoyment so the rest of us could enjoy it
as well! Talk about unconditional love for your fellow shepherd
enthusiasts! Thank you to Zoe and her administration for the hard work
it took putting all this together for us. Because of this blog, the
"pity partiers" didn't feel totally left out. In fact, it seems like
the delicious food we had was better than those old hot dogs and
hamburgers they had at the National anyway!
Also, I would like to thank Ed Barritt for another outstanding judging
assignment at the National. He was always my favorite National judge.
He's a judge who does pretty much what the heck he wants to do. Giving
out as many Selects as he does shows the man appreciates that there are
more than ten champions across the United States in either sex deserving
of a Select title. You go Ed..........................and may you still
have it in you to judge our intersex at the National again! Barbara
