In reading , ankylosis is at the end or the tip. This is up close to the
croup or the root.
Interesting though, ankylosis and spondylosis are mentioned together in much
literature.
My poor spell checker needs an update.
Thumbing through the dictionary now.

Ankaylosis(sp) I would think. Tails are the second thing I check-For
males,it' the 3 T's-Teeth,Tail & Testicles-then the Gait(movement) and
Soundness---
