[ SHOWGSD-L ] Terms and Conditions

I thought seriously about waiting until after the Board meeting to comment on
Lew's message to the membership but there is something that really troubles me
regarding this message.
In Lew's message dated 4/35/2007 he states: "I am pleased to announce that
Mr. Hunte has agreed to withdraw his application for membership in the GSDCA.
The Board is working very hard to finalize the terms and conditions under which
his application will be withdrawn"
Since when does an applicant for membership in the GSDCA dictate or suggest
terms and/or conditions and even more importantly, since when does the GSDCA
even consider terms and/or conditions on an applicant? If we start applying
terms and/or conditions then we really are setting a precedent. I sincerely
hope this is not the case and Mr. Hunte is simply a member or not or Mr. Hunte
decides to just withdraw his application.
