Dawn, I totally agree with you. I have learned a lot about dogs and dog  
people in the last twenty years. Unfortunately there are some people out there  
and  not just in our breed either that all they care about is winning in  the 
show ring. So what if the dog hits the ground on it's temperament test. So  
what 
if it has bitten two or three people . It will win at dog shows. That is  all 
that matters. I have a dog with not the best temperment. I finished him  
which was very easy once the handler trained him the way she wanted him to act. 
 I 
have had him all these years because I love him. Would I ever have placed him 
 in a home? No way!. I think he could have very easily become a fear biter in 
the  wrong situation. And as we all know a ninety pound dog with a shaky 
temperament  is a dangerous weapon.JMO.
