There seems to be confusion as to terminology between Temperament Test and Loose Lead Temperament Evaluation. Some history; the in-ring temperament test was originally getting confused with the TT as administered by the GSDCA, which is a separate event with the title "TT" to be added to the dog`s name if he/she passed the test. To separate the two, the Board, video committee and the Temperament committee decided to start calling the in-ring procedure "Loose Lead Temperament Evaluation" (LLTE). The video that is sent to all futurity/Maturity and National judges was changed to reflect the name clarification. Hope this helps people to understand the differences.
