I don't know...I think what has made this a huge issue is that it was this
woman Tammy that took this dog. Had it been the neighbor that took him off the
chain, took him to the vet and refused to return him we wouldn't have the whole
"I don't trust animal rights people" complication. I have looked at all the
videos...and if you trust what the neighbor and the vets are saying (that this
dog layed in one spot for three days and was neglected and in pain) I cannot
say that I would not have done what was done as well. IMO, in this case, this
is about this dog Doogie/Jake and not about some larger agenda. I could not
have walked away from that dog and left him in that condition any more than I
would turn my back on a child being beaten.........I do realize what people are
worried about when it comes to AR groups and I concur.....in this case however,
to me, it is all about this dog...Tammy was the one contacted, the Humane
society ignored the neighbor woman's pleas's for some
more important case and Jake was laying in the mud unable to stand.......it
is what it is.
