First, this has been an ongoing examination and concern for the past year. This
is not a result of the election. USDA didn’t use to post private information
on public websites, but they began doing that, which often resulted in
harassment (and worse) to them and their families by animal extremists. USDA
pulled all the information off the website to start redacting “private”
information and will again post the results of ‘final" inspections with private
information redacted.
Animal rights extremists were taking private information and publicizing the
most minor offenses before they were corrected and the final inspection was
complete. That was a violation of the animal enterprises’ owners that needed
to be corrected, but impossible to do unless all the thousands of reports were
pulled.
The ARs are screaming because they can no longer harass and bully animal
owners…
