[ SHOWGSD-L ] TRAINING

Reading Sheila's in home stuff reminded me of a long ago one I will share.
The folks had difficulty training this GSD themselves. They sent him to a
trainer for about a month if I recall. He came back just like he was before
they spent all that money. They called the trainer to please come to show
them what they needed to do. Aha, Ok - punch line - the trainer had trained
him in THE GERMAN LANGUAGE. Ouch. Needless to say the owners
had to learn how to talk to the dog so he'd know what they wanted. Bottom
line is like she says - in home training is important so the owners'll know!
