If you weigh having to be inspected monthly, unannounced, no restriction on
where to inspect, to make sure there isnt a pup hidden away somewhere
for
perpetuity
. against this verdict, I would imagine that Danielle feels as if
she is again free to have her privacy, her dogs and her life back.
AS far as not selling the pups from the house, she hadnt done that for some
time before. This was a draconian, unconstitutional judgement that was
overturned and we should all be glad that she was brave enough to fight it for
herself and for us.
She can still breed dogs. She doesnt have to give them away. She just cant
sell them from the house. In reality, that is a restriction that all
residential breeders face. Its just not enforced.
And finally, it also is an example of how an evil anonymous caller (perhaps a
club member) can create hell for any breeder. A call that can turn your life
upside down.
If all the breeders that I see who are hiding their breedings and their pups,
not letting the neighbors know and for sure not letting the AC know, would join
together, maybe some of these laws that are taking away rights would be
repealed and breeders would once again be proud and open about what they do.
