The last two times I have attended the National I have done so at the last
min. I have always found a room. Each year many rooms or blocks of rooms
are booked way ahead of time by the same people I would imagine. Eventually
people find out that they can either attend or not attend and then rooms
become available. Also the list is a great source for folks letting rooms
go. So for people to be upset in May that rooms aren't available in Oct. is
really no worry.
