Fairway's Raika v Nadelwlad HXCs, HSCs, HSAs, NAP has just been informed that 
she is now an AKC titled Therapy Dog (THD)
Raika and her owner/handler Donna have provided the needed certification for 50 
documented visits as a certified Therapy dog. Those 50 visits equal well over 
100 hours of therapy work. Raika currently is booked up for her weekly READ 
WITH 
RAIKA sessions at the library through the end of the year. During her 3 hour 
sessions Raika is read to, hugged, kisses, and occasionally cried on by at 
least 
6 kids. After years of dealing with rambunctious ewes and the challenges of 
veterans' hospitals and various rehab facility visits, Raika likes being able 
to 
catch a short nap or two while hearing the kids practice their reading.. 


Raika is sired by Fairway's In the Ruff Bodega OFA (littermate to BIS/BISS Ch 
Fairway's TeeTime Bodega) and out of Hermine v Nadelwald, (dam of Ch Fairway's 
Leah v Nadewald ROM).

If the parent club decides to accept this rather demanding title as one of the 
performance titles, Raika would join her sister Fairway's Teva v Nadelwald   
and 
her niece Fairway's Tory v Nadelwald as holders of the coverted PERFORMANCE 
AWARD OF MERIT title.
