Texas Folks,

Just received an urgent email from SAOVA....they say the Senator's  
staffs
are counting phone calls FOR and AGAINST TX HB 1451.

PLEASE, if there is any way you can CALLyour Texas State Senator (in  
whose
district you reside), TODAY, AND TOMORROW, AND FRIDAY, and say:

"I OPPOSE HB 1451, the Commercial Dog and Cat Breeder Act. It will not
catch or penalize bad breeders; it will only punish good breeders. HB  
1451
is fundamentally flawed and cannot be fixed by any amendments. Please  
vote
NO on HB 1451.

We might have a chance to quash this legislation. They are working long
hours, so call this evening even if you can't call during the day.

written to eliminate them. The Standards for Care; Confinement and
Transportation adopted must meet federal USDA regulations at a  
minimum. Bill

Keep up the good work! The key is quantity of phone calls and emails.
Please make the phone calls! If you have time, Call Senator Dan  
Patrick and
thank him for supporting dog and cat breeders and ask him to help us  
defeat
this legislation in the Senate! Call as many of them as you can if you  
live
in Texas.
