Yesterday, someone I didn't even know gave me three really interesting books -
"German Shepherd Survey 1958-59 Reports, Vol. 1, 1960" and two more following
them. These are hard-cover books & SOOO cool. The books are copyrighted by
the American Breed Survey Society for German Shepherd Dogs, Inc. with
headquarters ini Detroit, Michigan, with Grant E. Mann as Chairman of the Board
of Directors. They not only list dogs as approved for breeding, but they have
the "survey" and description and pictures !!! What a piece of history !
Kennel names like Lanhgold (Ernie Loeb ?), Red Rock's, Wilva Don, Von Nassau,
Santana, Serego and Helen Miller Fisher's breeding - wow - even Asgard - wow -
Evan - you were breeding even back then ???
