I'm remembering all of the quizzical looks and cocked heads over the years when dogs I grew up with or later owned encountered a baby. I can't imagine one of them being stupid enough to confuse a baby with a squeaky toy. Not saying it can't happen, just glad I never met a dog that foolish. (I attention train w/ a tennis ball, and some of the dogs are just GOOFY for that ball, yet when my nephew has it to throw for them <20 months now>, they won't take it from him, much less jump on him, bump him or paw at him. They weren't trained how to act appropriately, I guess it's just always been expected.) Kathy ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2006.
