AMEN! I was thinking the exact thing just the other day - some of us don't
know ALL the dog's histories even today and how frustrating it is to try to
research a bloodline in today's reviews [or online] with no pedigrees!
Sometimes not even the sire and dam are listed! And, even the dog's real
name isn't listed, just a call name! These ads won't do anyone any good in a
couple of years, especially the newbies that we keep talking about who will be
our breed's future!

This is not a complaint to Gail, it is to the advertisers about what makes
the Review timeless.
In the olden days people advertised their dogs with a pedigree. If you open
up one of those oldies today you know who you are looking at and what family
they came from. In those days, it gave us an indication of what lines were
clicking. You can glean much information from pedigrees blended with pictures
and brags.
10 years from now they will open today's Review and see a bunch of pictures
with current information that will not be so current when they are looking at
it...10 years from now. And possibly no clue were the dog came from who might
even be in their pedigrees.
I have been to many web sites with no pedigrees on the dogs. Very
disappointing.
I like the Review in print.
