I am probably late coming in on this one, but . . .?
IMHO?the website photos Sara has look excellent - and, no, I am in no way
implying that anyone else's photog skills are any less. This club is blessed
with several professional and talented show photogs from all over the US and
Canada.
It does appear that Sara was the photog for the SE fut/mat last year in Texas,
so she must know something about GSD show photos. And since this year's
National will be in Texas, I image perhaps that's why she was chosen -- one
heck of a lot cheaper than flying somone in from across the country.
I also do not think that her photo prices ($32 for an 8 by 10 or $30 for a dig.
file) are expensive at all. I won't name names, but I have seen the same size
photos?sold for?$35 to $55 each. And digital files are so outlandishly
expensive?-- recently, I was quoted $50 and $75 by two different photogs. A
third was asking more than $100 per digital image, more if you wanted to "own"
it and use it for your advertising. Ridiculous!
