There are a very large portion of performance people who do not even belong to
the club, including the breeders of two of my Chopper litters, people I herd
with and folks I train with at the all breed club.
Imagine if not only did they start to advertise in the Review, but if they
joined the club (myself included).
Now how to convince them.
The price of advertising is cost prohibitive. I think that's just the answer.
I have a free web page with hundreds of hits per month, a FB page and Twitter.
People that contact me did not do so through any GSDCA advertising, so it's not
cost efficient to advertise that way for me.

But do they know that? I'm honestly asking. DO they know that they are as
welcome as anybody else to run an ad?
*It certainly does not fall on the Review Editor's shoulders that there are
no "performance" dogs being pictured in the Review with a paid Ad.
*I never said it did, nor did I say it should.
*This is no reflection against the Review.*
Perhaps not, but I do have to say that it does sadden me a bit that a dog
that does have letters behind its name is more often than not shown in a
picture that represents the front of its name, because it says to be that
really, the back end isn't as important as the front end, and likely that is
the feel performance people that are parent club members get.
Just my opinion.
