[ SHOWGSD-L ] Re: Standard for Long Coats???

When we talk about a trimmed long coat being shown in confirmation maybe
we aren`t aware that showing a trimmed long coat is a disqualification
per the AKC. Check this out in AKC`s "Rules applying to dog shows".
Check chapter 11, section 8. It is always educational to read this
booklet and occasionally the GSD Standard. Who is going to be the first
judge to disqualify a trimmed long coat? How do you prove that a long
coat has been trimmed? Should be an interesting discussion. D.D.
