There are different grades of stainless steel and the USA still
has the best. I bought mine a few years ago at Pets Supplies Plus
and they state made in the USA so you might try there. Look on the
bottom and make sure they say made in the USA. My are a shinny new
looking as they were when I bought them and they are washed with soap
and water daily.

I'm looking for some stainless food bowls, flat bottom, and can't seem to
find any that don't leave a black residue on my towels when I dry them
after washing.
Bought some at Petsmart, made in India (that's all they had), and after two
washings, they still leave the black residue on my dish towels.
I haven't used them yet and am leery since I don't know what this black,
grease-like substance is.
Does anyone know where I can find some bowls that don't do this or what
this residue might be?
