The specific concern I have about this legislation is that it is aimed at
the locality where we hold our National Specialty show (planned for 2006). We
will be leaving a significant amount of our monies at this locality.
Politicians need to understand, as Peggy M. has said, the monetary impact
that dog activities bring to their constituents. My opinion is that if they
want to kill our sport then they should not benefit from it. I say, threaten
them with withdrawal of all activities in their area and see if it makes an
impact in their opinion.
