Cyndi is correct and I appreciate her bringing this up. The Centennial
Celebration will be part
of the 2013 National Specialty and is a separate event from the World
Trials.
The two events are back to back and an attempt is being made to schedule the
2013 national in such
a way as to afford fanciers the opportunity to 'see/observe' at least part
of the world trial competition or
practice sessions, if THEY SO CHOOSE WITHOUT SPENDING MANY EXTRA DAYS TO DO
SO. It is up to each individual
to determine what they wish to do.
The PC has established a 501(c)3 which will offer a tax deduction for those
donating to the
Centennial effort. We are planning a unique celebration to honor our club
and our great breed.
However, we WILL NOT OFFER EVENTS THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY SPONSORSHIP AND
DONATIONS -

It was explained to me that the Centennial celebration is a separate
event from the World Trial. I was told that the Centennial
celebration does have sponsors, but the world trial has none yet. If
that's not correct, I'm sure someone will let me know!
