By saying " I have never been successful producing a litter" do you mean using
the frozen semen? Or, when he was able, naturally?
The vet should have a report on the semen collected, and should not have frozen
it if it was not acceptable.
If the semen report shows the collection was a good one, and the frozen was
used, it is possible that the inseminatoing vet either did it incorrectly, at
the wrong time, or it was mishandled when thawed.
I would hold onto the frozen semen. Once you throw it out, it is gone forever.

o do with the sperm....my yearly storage fee is due, but I'll feel bad just
