[ SHOWGSD-L ] Specialty Brag from Washington Shows -AGAIN & NEW CHAMPION

Well, it just keeps getting better...different dog but all in the family.
Yesterday Harley (Utopia's First Edition of Linnloch) got his first major after
winning the Am. bred class and today we have a NEW CHAMPION!!! (pending AKC
confirmation)
Under Michael Cheeks, BIM Linnloch Showboat De Riviera PT, OFA Excellent, won
the open class and went on to WB and BOS over specials. Can't get much
better than this.
Riva (the Diva) was handled to her championship by Art Sinclair who does such
a wonderful job with her. They just float around the ring. Big thanks to
Jennifer Root for her training and conditioning! Riva has just done great
since
Jenn has worked her magic on her. Since her Best In Maturity win in April
under Peggy Douglas, she got her first major under Barbara Hefner, her second
major last weekend under Howard Snodgrass and today her third and finishing
major under Michael Cheeks.
Also, thanks to Theresa Royer who did her herding training and obtained the
PT title on her.
We had a great team all around!

For a circuit that started out terribly, when Dorothy got sideswiped (hit and
run) in her van by a semi on her way to pick up Art; driving from California
to Washington with body damage, window on sliding side door broken out, no
right side exterior mirror (thank goodness Jack Kilgore was with them as he had
to stick his head out the passenger window to see if Art could change lanes)
and having to keep duct taping a tarp on the side door window, every few hours,
it certainly ended up very well. <G> Yes, the trip from hell, should be very
smooth coming home...two majors, a new champion, a new right side exterior
mirror and a new door window thanks to the Everett Wa. Ford dealership.
