I've decided that taking a consensus of various observations is much better.
Discounting the major win "good" judge and looking at LOTS of responses
rather than one or two. Watching what was put up from the shows on the
websites. Sooner or later, you get a good feel for the judge, even when not
in the
ring.

P.S. REALLY wishing more clubs would get their results in to the PC website.
