When I was president of the Golden State German Shepherd dog club ( one of the
dumbest things I ever did) we were so poor we didn't want to give out ribbons.
BASU suggested that we just give the winners a piece of paper saying. " you
won". Folks that is a true story FB

I can say from my experience great ribbons/rosettes (except for Group and BIS
wins) were not at the top of what I enjoyed. My favorites were stainless steel
crate buckets, leads (I still have them!), gift certs, etc. We use to get tote
bags, vendor certificates⦠those were great, too. Anything big that was
difficult to take home, not so great. I still have my lovely crystal flower
vase, though. :-)
