Many types of tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis, Dipylidium canium, Enchinococcus
granulosus, and Echinococcus multilocularis) can infect dogs. The active
ingredient, Praziquantel, is the ONLY wormer that will kill the Common
Tapeworm -- Dipylidium caninum.
"Fish Tapes" capsules do contain Praziquantel and are perfectly safe for use in
dogs.
