Usually if a bitch has been spayed you can feel the little ridge of scar
tissue on the belly, however this usually means rolling the bitch over and
actually looking for a scar or feeling for the peritneal closure. Some vets
use non absorbable suture under the skin, but not usually. If so you will
definately feel the ridge on the belly.
