My spayed female died at age 9 of hemangiosarcoma and my neutered (11 months
because of cryptorchidism) was diagnosed at the age of 3 with Lymphoma and
died after 19 months of chemo treatments. I'd love to have one live to 12.

How about neutering at an older age say after 7? Would that be better. I had
a male die at 12 of Testicular cancer.
