There is a way to tell an exhibitor that a dog is not competitive with today's dog.....if Skip actually told her just "get a better dog," I think that was awful. I can't imagine him saying that, but maybe he did...still, there are easier ways to tell someone when showing a dog is a waste of time and money..........
