Hi Beryl
One thing that works for a while with my female (after she starts clamping
the mouth) is to grind it up and put it into yoghurt. Works for a while.
The other favourite is to hide it in the spray cheese that Kraft makes (very
expensive for me as the spray cheese isn't available here in Canada and I
have to import it) or in liverwurst. As long as the pill is completely
covered, I'll often get away with this: Prepare 4 or 5 little piles of
either liverwurst or cheese (I do one on each finger) - have the pill in the
middle pile - feed two piles without pill - feed pill - quickly feed other
two piles. Is messy as heck but works 80% of the time.

I have a 10 year old spayed female, who has been ill, went to the Vet last
week. In fact I think I mentioned it on the list.
She is obviously feeling a LOT better after what she "pulled" on me
tonight.
She was on Clovamox 2 X a day for 7 days. Tonight I know she is feeling a
lot better, because she is now wise to me slipping her meds to her. She
would not open her mouth, and clamped her jaw tight so I couldn't force it
easily. So I primed her with a "cookie" She took it , but wouldn't wait for
what comes next the meds.
She is so much better today, looks 100 % better in her eyes, her body,
everywhere.
So now I guess I will have to go through the cheese, chicken or whatever
pill disguise to get her meds down.
She makes me laugh every day with her antic's.
One thing that makes me happy ......I now know that she is feeling a lot
better because she has her "spunk" back.
