Ok I need help on this one to...my female has decided that she should
landscape the whole acre and a half...she digs all the time, I feel like
removing her paws. My yard is starting to look like a real junk yard. I
have heard that if you get a balloon and blow it up, put it in the hole they
just dug, and cover it, that when they dig again, they may pop the balloon
and they might stop digging, haven't actually tried it so I don't know if it
works...I am to lazy to blow up a balloon...haha.
I finally just gave up, bought a kennel and put it up on our cement patio
that we have, and now she can have fun trying to dig up the cement.

Okay everyone -
Here's a question... Through the years, I have had lots of "MIGHTY" diggers.
They have dug in rocks, grass, gravel, dirt, etc. We added a dog to our
pedigrees some years ago and everyone down from him dug holes..
Well, I haven't had a hole digger in any breed recently.... Until this
Spring..........
Pepper has decided that my partially done flowerbed, my mulch bed, my hosta
bed and the grass next to the sprinkler heads are her own personal sandbox..
Anyone got a cure, beside getting a hunting dog collar and zapping her once
or twice? I remember we tried everything with the dals and most outgrew the
problem, but I might have ti kill Pepper before then.
She has plenty of toys, gets tons of attention, gets a 10 minute training
session in the morning and 2 miles of biking in the evening.... Part of it
is that she buries things, but most of it is just to dig...
Suggestions? Anyone? I am sure there are others with the same problem....
Or I could patiently wait....or not.
