Just a quick note to say THANK YOU!  to Bill Tank for the 3 pt major under D.D. 
Ardoin.  I had forgotten that he handled Happy that week-end and Thank you 
again to Kathy and Ken for the remaining points to finish Happy.  I think never 
going worse that 2nd place in a show career toward a championship says 
everything.

  Hi Anne
  It was driving me crazy thinking I was having a serious blonde moment about 
Miss Happy's points progression to her Ch.  I R Blonde you know.  lololol   So 
I looked it up in our old records (we keep them to give us an idea what judges 
like what, and to clear up our fuzzy memories, lol)
  Her points were as follows...so I wasn't crazy afterall, ok, crazy ,but not 
stupid, lolol. Below this is an actual excerpt from the AKC pts progression.

  We showed her as the AKC record shows, with Happy getting 14 pts, all majors, 
the last of which
  I remember joyfully, occured under Twyla Minor at the Beehive Cluster. We 
were all so happy, 
  not realizing she still needed a single point!!   When  we realized this (I 
believe an ad had even gone out)
  We took her to local shows (AB) to get what should have been an easy peazy 1 
pt on this gorgeous girl.  Remember how stressed we all were because we wanted 
to take her as a Special to the Daytona Nationals?  ugh! lol


  This is where I think the confusing came in.  Jim Hall did in fact show her 
at the Oregon shows, because Ken and I couldn't get up there. She went 3rd and 
then three Reserves during the four shows with Jim....
  again the whole crew being thoroughly frustrated....still trying to get that 
nasty little one point...ack.

  Then she got that HUGE Am Bred win under Helen Gleason at that 2003 Daytona 
Nationals, with Ken.

  She came with us, where we took her to Bob Grady, about a week later... and 
he gave her Open, WB, with Ken and with me BOW, Best of Breed.
  It was four points , not five (I thought it was five , too.)  which gave her 
a total of 18 pts.....and we all did truly the "HAPPY " DANCE.        

  AND KEN LAUGHS BECAUSE I KEEP THIS STUFF...LOLOLOL...hey, more filing 
cabinets I can get, a better memory , I cannot, lol.
