Smelly or not, Robert's family have always rinsed their dogs with cider  
vinegar going back generations.
In fact, in my pantry are TWO bottles marked HIS (for his dog) and  HERS 
(for cooking).  When he still had Royce, my bottle would  routinely 
disappear....
