I entered two puppies at their second show this past weekend and boy did we
have fun!
Sire: MV Am/Can Select Ch. Linden Hill’s Hayabusa ROM, TT, OFA (aka: Han)
Dam: BOS in Specialty Can. Ch. Lindau Thief’s Honor v JurHaus HIC, OFA
On Thursday, April 23rd this litter turned 11 months old and the weekend
started something like this…
JurHaus’ Wild Card (aka: Zoey) was awarded Winners Bitch and on to BOB, BOW,
BPIB with her litter brother...
JurHaus’ He Shoots He Scores (aka: Koivu) going Winners Male and BOS to his
sister all weekend!
Off to the Group ring we flew…
Thank you to judge Mr. Garry Allan for adoring our ‘wild child’ as much as we
do and awarding her Group 2, and Best Puppy in Group!
By this time, I was vibrating with excitement and our ‘wild child’ just kept
getting better & better, floating around the ring screaming pick me… and we
were not disappointed!
New Canadian Champion, Best Puppy in Show JurHaus’ Wild Card (aka: Zoey or
Zoom-Zoom as we like to call her)!
Thank you to my dear friend Darci Anonychuk for piloting Zoey so beautifully
around the ring while I handled her brother Koivu. Did I mention Zoey likes to
scream? Well, we certainly found that out the hard way this weekend because
she voiced her opinion ‘loud and clear’ to the entire building when Mom entered
the ring with another dog for Breed! She sure 'flew' trying desperately to
catch me in front :)
Thank you to all the spectators for the great ring side support and compliments
on these babies!
TWO champion puppies in just 2 weekends! We are still coming down from our
cloud.
New Canadian Champion JurHaus’ He Shoots He Scores (aka: Koivu)
In just 2 weekends (6 days), Koivu collected 1 BOB, 5 BOS, 1 BOW, 2 BPIB and
was undefeated for Winners Male all 6 days!

Well, we are thrilled to share that our young boy JurHaus' He Shoots He
Scores aka: "Koivu" SCORED big his first weekend out @ 10 months of age!
Friday, Winners Male under Mr. F.M. MacDonald for 1 point.
Saturday, Winners Male and Best Puppy in Breed under Ms. Cec Ringstrom for 1
point.
And today he closes the weekend out in style. BOB, BOW and BP for 3 points
under Mr. Walter Pinsker!
We are thrilled that our sweet boy has collected 5 points his first show out
- what a way to start!
Thank you to the judges above for these nice wins and for their nice
comments.
Huge thank you to my son Ken who beautifully piloted him around the ring
today! Oh, by the way, Ken is also the co-breeder and co-owner of these
babes - sweet!
His sister, JurHaus' Wild Card aka: Zoey finished the weekend out with a BOW
and BPIB for 3 points - thank you to Mr. F.M. MacDonald.
I know I promised pictures today but it seems as though my scanner has
decided to quit at the worst time $#!#
Will try to get them scanned somewhere else and will forward as soon as
possible.

Subject: Small Brag!
I have been keeping busy having fun with my most recent litter (born May
2008) of which I held onto three of five. They just turned 10 months on the
23rd and have each taken turns winning some great Match honors over the last
couple of months. Most recently, JurHaus' Wild Card aka "Zoey" was awarded
BPIM last weekend - how exciting.
However, our first local all-breed show of the year is this weekend and I
decided it was time to enter a couple in their very first 'real show!'
You may remember me posting about the birth of this litter last year and
requesting assistance with 'sports names' as this was going to be my litter
theme.
I am excited and proud to share that at their very first show both of my
rambunctious babes did me proud!
JurHaus' He Shoots He Scores aka: Koivu took the male points and BOS (yes,
my hockey son's named him)
And
JurHaus' Wild Card aka: Zoey took the bitch points and on to beat her
brother for Best of Winners - breeder/owner handled!
When I receive the pictures I promise to share.
