Thank you Lew! What a privilege to watch the Sieger Show.
I've enjoyed tuning in and being a part of their day and watching
the dogs and events. I could not help but smile at the double
handlers "lane" outside of the ring. Imagine that at our Nationals.
We need to embrace all aspects of our breed and all those who
are active in the growth and development of the breed. Though
there is a vast difference in conformation between the U.S. and Sieger
conformation dogs, we can respect each other's preferences.
We can choose our direction without condemnation of the other's choice.
I too prefer our American type, but also appreciate many of the virtues
available in the German Dogs. Most important, we must all be open to
learn from each other because the bottom line is that ...these dogs are all
German Shepherd Dogs....to which we are all devoted. Helen Franklin
