Hello Ileana,
I just rescued a barn cat that we "thought" just had a URI. Turned out it was
Rhinovirus and had to be quarantined for 3 weeks.. I know what you're going
through! We tried Baytril, Clavamox and NOTHING. Then we tried Zythromax and
TADAA!! Success!! Just a thought for you if you're having trouble with
recovery. We were going to bring the cat in and stick him in the bathroom with
the shower running. The vet said that was a good idea, only in someone else's
house. We have an 18yr old cat and the vet said the new kitten couldn't be
brought in the house AT ALL!

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Sick Kitty
My boss rocks.
I was gone 10 days for the National, and came home to find one of our cats
sick. All kitties stayed at the boarding area at the vet, and he now has an
"urti". They fear it may even be a virus, so now I have to separate him from
the other 2 cats, and these guys sleep, live, eat and drink together. Not
easy, and not fun.
For those with cats, have you ever done humidifier therapy? If so, what
worked better for you?
Sebastian is our little (not so) rescue. He had a rough start, we found him
injured and nursed him and never had the heart to put him up for adoption.
So here he is, 10 years later, and 17 pounds bigger!! I am not wrestling
with him....<G>
