[ SHOWGSD-L ] Showing your own dogs

When my daughter was 12 years old she picked up the leash on one of our dogs
and ran him around the park for me. In the next six years she finished Ch.
Trinity's Draco V Lil' Bear CDX, Ch. Trinity's Cassiopeia VL Bear, and Ch.
Wyndean's Hollywood of Asgard CD. She has also put majors on Trinity's Mr.
Bojangles V Warr and Candia-Conlee No Regular Joe. (these dog have been
shown at specialties and all breeds) She also competed with Casey at a
Eukanuba Classic in Florida. Did she have good dogs? You bet, but she also
worked hard to present them so they looked their best. Two of these dogs
live with us. I think if you are willing to work hard and learn how to
condition and groom and show you can do well with your own dogs.
