When we did the World Trials, we knew it was going to cost the club. But,
no one expected it to cost $100,000 and end up with the club being sued by
the WDA. At least I would like to think no one knew that.
The real question is why did we not know that? The brain power on our
board is amazing. But it was someone with a strong voice that cost this club
so much money.
Now we have to pay the price. Perhaps instead of punishment to the
general membership, we can earn a small amount each year for the next ten
years
and do a service to the membership, instead of trying to do it in three or
four years by holding the National in St. Louis for the foreseeable future.
It is time to think about the entire membership. Not just those who can
drive to St. Louis in a day.

I like that idea of not supporting the SV show in America.
