Very interesting position. We are being told we will remain in St. Louis
until the club shows enough reserves.
Here we find the idea that we will not spend money to support the SV until
the club shows enough reserves.
The major cost as I read it, is paying for a judge to come from Germany.
We have some judges here in America, (I think Helen Gleason our National
Specials Judge is qualified, and I think Dr. Goldberg), and there is no reason
why the GSDCA has to carry that load, until we have enough reserves.
I do support the total dog. I even like the St. Louis arena. I can
appreciate all the board does, but there should be some balance.
If the members of the GSDCA are asked to sacrifice something, not
supporting the SV having a show in America might be a more rational demand.
