Here is something to think about: There was no polio vaccine in the
late thirties and forties. I got it.
There was no chicken-pox shot when I was a kid. I got it when my kids
did, and boy, I was really SICK.
I was glad there was a polio vaccine for my kids. Trust me, the disease
is no fun. Thank God for Sister Kenny.
By diligence, we have managed to eliminate smallpox. This was a nasty
vaccination, but it worked.
I no longer booster my dogs, except for the required rabies every 3
years, here in Nevada. If I had kids now, I would see they got their
inoculations per my doctor's recommendations. Doris E
