I knew Tina at the very end of the 70s to very early 80s
when I was looking for my first GSD. She tried to convince
me to take a bitch via her satellite kennel program
whereby she would own the bitch, make all the breeding
arrangements and breed to the male of her choice. The
bitch would live with me and I would need to breed her "x"
number of times before she would become mine. I could keep
one puppy for myself from each litter and the rest would
go back to Tina.
That didn't jibe with me, so I found a wonderful local
breeder who was a much better (and less crazy) fit for me
and my hubby and our life together with our setters. And
that is where my beloved Gia (ToothAcres Rigadaun) came
from. She brought me 14 problem-free, happy years of
unconditional love and left us from old age. Her beautiful
body just gave out one day and she laid down and was all
done.
