Her family felt that she was not worth the trip to the vet when she was struck
by a car nearly a year ago. Consequently, her foot is worn raw from dragging it
and will most likely need amputation. A concerned person had begged repeatedly
to allow her to have the dog, to no avail until now. Shey is infested with
fleas and is suffering from skin issues. She is beyond emaciated and is in dire
straits.
LHSH is currently facing funding on four HW positive dogs that are young and
adoptable, as well as providing food for many who are in need. We could not
however, abandon Shey and will do what we can to give her the medical care that
she so critically needs.
Pictures of Shey available on request. Please keep her in your thoughts
tonight...
