I wrote and told her about the same thing. Told her I have been judging for
14 years and never ONCE was I given a catalog before judging. I actually
judged this dog last month in Springfield MA. Before I started judging
Shelties
my ring steward told me someone told her they wanted a dog measured that
day. I told the ring steward to tell the exhibitor they needed to tell me
since
I was the judge and it had to be while they were in the ring with the dog
they wanted measured. Of course, that did not happen. I had the wicket and was
waiting for the request, never got it. I did ask the ring steward if the
exhibitor who was requesting this from her showed that day. Indeed she did and
the
ring steward pointed her out to me. I guess she prefers to hide behind a
computer screen rather than call for a wicket and face up to it.
I did forward the email to the owner. She did respond and said the dog needs
one major to finish. I gave him a 3rd in the class. Must be a fairly nice
dog since all my classes were large. I think my total entry was around 70.
