[ SHOWGSD-L ] She Got Off the Couch

A couple of years ago when Julie Degen told me about how the dog clubs in
Germany worked together competing as a group against other dog clubs, the GSDCA
Regional Club Challenge was born. The GSDCA Regional Club Committee stated our
goal of having members get off the couch and get out to do something with
their dog. We give points for almost anything you do with your dog and it is
exciting to see clubs pulling together. Just this week Kim from Atlanta
convinced us that we should give points for sires/dams who made the ATAA List.
We
agreed and then Kim realized that our Sammi made the ATAA List too so she
helped
Kansas City get points by making this suggestion, we shared a good email laugh.
However, this whole idea is all about hearing the joy in the owner's voice
when they realize that, yes, they can do this, they can train their dog, yes
they can earn a title and folks that is what this whole process is about, you
and
your dog.
A special CONGRATULATIONS FOR GETTING OFF THE COUCH to Patty and Select Ex
ChrissyTC, RN (Soon to be AOE). Patty's first question was to make sure her
club was entered in the Challenge. Is your club entered?
