horses, cows, people suffer from bloat and torsion. I know its hard to believe,
but I have'nt heard a horse quack with the possible exception of the famous Mr.
Ed of course of course

I think its important to keep an open mind about health issues that have not
yet had a root cause determination.

One common factor beywern all species affected with this maladay, is processed,
genetically alteted foodS

Just saying

It depends on which procedure is used for the tacking. When the stomach
is tacked to the soft lining of the abdominal wall IF a dog tries to torsion
it can simply tear away. Unfortunately, when a dog who has torsioned is
rushed to the ER, the main concern is getting the dog right ASAP, including
but not limited to preventing shock, getting normal blood supply resumed,
assessing damaged tissue and NOT doing one of the more extensive procedures,
so yes Lee, a dog who has been tacked using that technique can indeed
torsion again.
To those that don't see a familial link....if it walks like a duck and
quacks like a duck, it's a duck. You can make all of the excuses in the world
(and I've heard most I think). I don't need a DNA marker for this one.

The tacking alone does not keep torsioning from happening again - as I was
told. Is that true?
