I agree with you completely here. Even if all an advertiser does is to put
somewhere , subtly in the ad the sire and dam (it doesn't have to be in CAPS
or bold or with flames or fireworks or "ta-dah's", nor does it have to be in
technicolor...lol
It is nice certainly to see, as the stud or bitch owner the names of the
mated pair that parented
"Mr or Miss Wonderful".
Moreover, for people that may ADMIRE the ad or the dog, it is common sense
to put sire and dam
so they may see the bloodlines from whence they sprung. It isn't necessary
to put a pedigree on an ad, but a small line of sire and dam is basic,
essential info.
If I see an ad with a dog
I want to know more about, and there is no sire/dam listed, I generally skip
over it, never to come back.
If I don't know at least who the sire and dam are, then the rest doesn't
mean much, no matter how
grand the accomplishments.
But that's just me..lol
