I have sold pups to vets many times with no problem. But on one
occasion the woman vet returned a male puppy to me because he had a
small umbilical hernia and she said she could never show him because if
she repaired it he would be surgically altered and therefore ineligible
for show.
I was delighted to get this handsome fellow back, needless to say. Doris E
