I asked the local Washington group and they didn't think they had a facility to
handle it. Go figure, they weren't as determined as the group in Oregon. I love
the Oregon site but understand the problem getting there. Heck I can't fly to
Portland now from AZ without going to Seattle first. The Seattle airport is a
pit. Dirty dirty dirty!!!!! AND It rains ever more in Seattle than it does in
Oregon. :0) The shows are a ton of work for the local folks and they need a
group willing to do the ground work. I remember talking to Lew after one of the
shows in Saint Lewis. he said he would never push for it again. Too much work.
:0)
You guys will never guess who is coming to the Tucson shows. The Fasanos are
hosting a GVX party. With the Funks. And everyone is invited.Do you want me to
take my camera and take pictures when I show up :0)
Carol Smith judging and Helen Franklin. Gee do I think this is a set up. :0)
Well we have changed Presidents and show chairs and this will not happen again.
Terry putting her camera together. I will be a good girl, I will be a good
girl!!! BUT IF FASANO GETS DRUNK AND RUDE I WILL CALL A BENCH ON HIM SO FAST
IT WILL MAKE HIS HEAD SWIM. He is hosting a party on the show grounds.

Oregon was a gorgeous almost perfect site.........but no direct flights
into it.

Seattle is a main hub for Alaskan/ Horizon and I think Northwest.
People in the East had to fly into Seattle to get to the Albany Oregon
site.
I never could figure out why they don't just consider Seattle.

brought it up a couple of times when I was on the
Board.........??
