In 1996, I took myself to Scotland for a month, rented a car, and drove on the"other" side of the street throughout the land. Staying only at B&B's gave me the opportunity to meet the local folks and enjoy Scotland as it was meant to be. I went to the Highland games and marched with the piper band, enjoying a private Caleigh at the end. The month was total magic! I bore all who visit me with pictures. For anyone who has seen the move, "Shirley Valentine"..... I did that! I did ALL of that, and even found my highland laddie. God Bless Scotland and those wonderful kilts, and those that go regimental. Helen Franklin ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2012.
